Job Description:\n\nWelder / Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker – Days\n\nLocation: Bradford\nPay Rate: £16.50 – £17.90 per hour (depending on experience)\nType: Temp to Perm\n\nSwift Temps Engineering Bradford Team are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder / Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker to join our client’s team.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe are looking for a fully competent sheet metal worker and welder/fabricator who can work both in the workshop and on-site as required.\n\nThe successful candidate should have strong experience working within a precision fabrication or manufacturing environment, producing high-quality components from engineering drawings.\n\nYou should be able to:\n\n * Work with mild steel and stainless steel\n\n * Operate workshop machinery including welding, bending, cutting and fabrication equipment\n\n * Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a small team\n\n * Communicate effectively in customer-facing situations when required\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Manufacture components from engineering drawings or verbal instructions\n\n * Fabricate and weld specialist and bespoke items to a high standard\n\n * Use a full range of workshop equipment safely and effectively\n\n * TIG welding of mild and stainless steel to a good standard\n\n * Carry out general sheet metal fabrication work in a busy workshop environment\n\nEssential Skills\n\n * TIG welding experience (mild steel and stainless steel)\n\n * Fully competent in sheet metal work and fabrication\n\n * Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings\n\n * Good all-round fabrication and workshop skills\n\nWorking Hours\n\n * Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm OR 7:00am to 4:30pm\n\n * Some Saturdays required during busy periods\n\n * Optional shifts available: 7:00am – 7:00pm, including weekends if you are wanting extra hours\n\nClick To Apply\n\nTo send an up-to-date CV to Mcmillan Serrant at swift Temps or contact our Bradford office on (phone number removed).\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Swift Temps Ltd – Engineering Recruitment Division, who operate as an employment business\n\nINDBR
