Senior MLOps Engineer

\n Senior MLOps Engineer – AI Consultancy Manchester | £65k–£80k + Equity + Benefits\n

We’re hiring a Senior MLOps Engineer to join a fast-growing AI consultancy based in Manchester City Centre (3 days on-site). You’ll take ownership of production ML systems and help shape how models are deployed, scaled, and maintained for clients.

What you’ll be doing\n

\n
• Leading deployment and scaling of ML systems for client projects
\n
• Working closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers in a collaborative, pair-programming environment
\n
• Owning features end-to-end, from design through to production support
\n
• Participating in sprint planning and architectural decision-making
\n
• Improving best practices around experiment tracking, model versioning, and monitoring
\n

What we’re looking for\n

\n
• 3+ years’ experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering roles
\n
• Strong production Python experience
\n
• Hands‑on experience training and serving ML models
\n
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit‑learn
\n
• Strong working knowledge of Docker, Linux, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
\n
• Experience deploying systems you’ve helped design
\n
• Excellent communication skills
\n
• Eligible for SC clearance
\n

Nice to have\n

\n
• Practical MLOps experience in live environments
\n
• Kubernetes and IaC
\n
• Experience with LLM or agent‑based systems
\n
• Open source contributions or technical writing
\n
