About the job.

We're recruiting for a Reporting Coordinator to join the Cost Intelligence team within the Business Services Directorate (BSD), based in any of our National Highways offices.

As part of your role, you will be responsible for administering the efficiency processes which play a key role in delivering National Highways' efficiency Key Performance Indicator (KPI). You will be responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring process adherence and processing large volumes of data in line with the specified deadlines.

Your role is to coordinate and support efficiency performance, in strict compliance with the guidelines, therefore safeguarding the integrity of the process. You will also be required to support training across the business, deliver presentations and supporting the delivery of benefits.

Within Cost Intelligence we are working on exciting projects to deliver the Efficiency KPI and your support in the analytical projects will be part of the role.

  • Administering the efficiency processes and managing stakeholders.
  • Providing and processing information in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring strong process adherence.
  • Managing the forward plan to achieve our target.
  • Supporting the delivery of training and responsible for organising all team meetings, room bookings, papers and minutes.

About you.

  • Experience of creating and managing reports - strong Excel skills required, experience of using Power BI desired.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and maintain large volumes of data in Excel or a database.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to details.
  • Understanding of unit cost construction.
  • Experience of following and improving processes.

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
