ScoMac Catering Equipment Ltd is one of the largest independent commercial catering manufacturers/suppliers within the U.K, to which you can trace back over 120 years. ScoMac Catering Equipment are now looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake Punch Operator to join their team.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, this role is responsible for operating an Amada CNC Press Brake machine and also operating the Trumpf Punch Machine. Other duties involved in the role are as follows:

Main duties will include:

Adjust and load tools as required to perform correct folds and bends to produce a variety of mils and stainless-steel components.

To read and interpret engineering drawings.

The setup, maintenance, & operation of the CNC punch press.

The sharpening of punch related tooling using a semi-automated tool sharpener.

Maintain and ensure equipment is safe, clean and in good working order.

The breaking out and de-burring of punched parts for further processing.

Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies at all times.

Assist with any other task as required in line with business needs and as required within your skill set and experience.

Skills & Experience Required:

Must possess experience in operating and setting press brake machines

Have knowledge and experience using Amada CNC machines

Have knowledge and experience of using Trumpf Punch machines.

Possess good communication, organisational and numeracy skills.

Be able to work within a team or on your own.

Possess a can do attitude.

Pay attention to detail and quality.
