I am absolutely delighted to be partnering exclusively with a fantastic Cambridge-based professional services organisation as they look to appoint an Event Coordinator to join their dynamic Business Development & Marketing team.\n\nThis is a truly exciting opportunity for a passionate events professional who is ready to step up, perhaps from an assistant role, into a position where you can take real ownership and make an impact. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and, at times, your feet genuinely won't touch the ground, this could be the perfect next move.\n\nYou'll be at the heart of delivering a diverse portfolio of high-quality, large-scale corporate events, from conferences and seminars to high-profile client dinners. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, professional environment where your ideas, energy, and attention to detail will be highly valued.\n\nThis is a part time role, 22 hours per week.

Flexible in terms of how these hours are worked.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSupporting the end-to-end delivery of large corporate events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid)\nPlanning and coordinating logistics including venues, suppliers, catering, and event materials\nManaging and tracking event budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and accurately reported\nLiaising with internal stakeholders across BD, Marketing, and senior leadership teams\nManaging invitations, registrations, and attendee communications\nSupporting event promotion and marketing campaigns\nEnsuring full compliance with health & safety requirements and event regulations\nProviding on-the-day event delivery and troubleshooting support\nConducting post-event evaluations, feedback analysis, and reporting\nMaintaining event data, systems, and CRM records\nDemonstrable experience organising and delivering large-scale corporate events such as conferences and formal dinners\nProven ability to manage budgets, track costs, and deliver value-driven events\nStrong knowledge of health & safety requirements within an events setting\nExperience gained within a professional services or corporate environment\nHighly organised with exceptional attention to detail\nConfident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills\nEnergetic, enthusiastic, and solutions-focused\nA genuine passion for events and a drive to succeed \n\nHybrid working model\nSalary circa £(phone number removed) FTE (with flexibility for the right individual)\nThe opportunity to join a highly respected organisation with an excellent reputation\nA supportive and forward-thinking team environmentOpportunities like this are few and far between.
