About the role

As a Live-In Porter at Windsor Court,you'llbe a key part of the day-to-day running of the site, providing a visible and reassuring presence for residents while helping to keep the building safe,secureand wellmaintained.

Working closely with the Senior Property Manager,you'llsupport the smooth operation of thebuilding,fromassistingwith health and safety compliance and contractor management, to responding to resident queries andmaintaininghigh standardsacross communal areas.

This is a live-in role, meaningyou'llplay an important part in supporting residents and responding to any incidents or emergencies when needed.

Where will I be working?

  • Living on Site at Windsor Court, W2 4SN -37hours per week -Working hours are8am 4pm, Monday to Friday, however, a site walk andrubbishcollection isrequiredon a Saturday morning,8am 10am.There may also be requirements to workadditionalhours on the weekend asrequiredbut this will be communicated in advance.

Whatyou'llbe doing

  • Ensuringsite security, including monitoring access,carrying out checks around communalareasand overseeing CCTV system
  • Assistingwith health and safety compliance, including fire safety checks and hazard reporting
  • Acting as a point of contact for residents and providing excellent customer service
  • Responding to incidents,emergenciesand queries, escalating where appropriate
  • Supporting the upkeep,cleanlinessand presentation of communal areas
  • Liaising with contractors on site and ensuring work is carried out safely
  • Undertaking basic maintenance and caretaking tasks, reporting defects as needed

Whatwe'relooking for

  • Experience in a porter,caretakeror similar role
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the site
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
  • Experience of Health & Safety compliancewithin a residential block
  • Basic IT skills
  • Basic understanding ofresidential mechanicalequipmentand plant

Ideally,you'llalso have:

  • Experience within residential or building management environments
  • An Emergency First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Experience using CCTV systems
  • Experience in a Handyman role or similar
