What you'll be doing

  • Carrying out joineryinstallations and repairs within domestic properties
  • Completingwork such as doors, kitchens, flooring and internal fittings
  • Working to specifications, reports, and agreed standards
  • Protecting Customers' homes and belongings while completingwork
  • Collaborating with supervisors, schedulers and wider teams to meet deadlines
  • Recordingwork activity and completing required documentation
  • Supporting apprentices and contributing to team performance and KPIs

What your day looks like

  • A structured schedule covering repairs and maintenancework
  • Travelling between jobs inyour company van
  • Working independently or with a team of other tradespeople
  • Engaging directlywith Customers in their homes
  • Completingwork efficiently while maintaining quality and compliance standards

Where you'llwork

You will beworking across:

  • Occupied homes
  • Empty (void) properties
  • A range of domestic propertieswithin your local area
  • Environments involvingvulnerable Customers

EssentialCriteria (you need to meet all of these to be shortlisted)

  • NVQ Level 2 orequivalent in Joinery
  • Experienceworking as a Joiner, ideally within social housing or domestic properties
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Due to the area this patch covers, you will need to be basedwithin the PE postcode

Nice to have (not essential)

  • Experienceworking across multiple trades
  • ITliteracy or willingness to learn digital systems

Our hiring process
