Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join us, based from our Head Office in Doncaster with agile/hybrid working. The successful candidate will work closely with the BI Manager to deliver and maintain end-to-end business intelligence solutions for Keepmoat.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards aligned to business needs and best-practice UX/data visualisation.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse/lakehouse assets and ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring robust, scalable and well-documented data ingestion.
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape requirements, define KPIs and acceptance criteria, and translate business needs into technical specifications and deliverable BI products.
  • Maintain and optimise BI solutions (model performance, refresh reliability, capacity, accessibility), monitoring usage and continuously improving user experience and adoption.
  • Present results to stakeholders using clear data storytelling, articulating trends, insights, assumptions and limitations to drive action.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (data definitions, lineage, model design, refresh/runbooks) to support supportability and knowledge sharing.
  • Champion data quality, governance and security (including access controls and row-level security), promoting trusted data and consistent KPI definitions.
  • Recognise and adopt best practices in semantic modelling, testing and release management (e.g., Azure DevOps), and actively develop knowledge of responsible AI features (e.g., Copilot-assisted development, natural-language Q&A and AI-enabled insights) in line with organisational policies.
